I'd say £80 was reasonable but make absolutely sure that there is no corrosion in the battery box, and that the silvering of the reflector is in good order. Any sign that the silvering has black patches could mean that the flash has suffered battery leakage. If it's not too bad it's still worth having, but not at £80. Offer £40.

You could also try using a flash with a strobe feature (the 500 ?), which if used in a darkened room would yield several images on one frame.
