Morning Walk

The daily exercise for today comprised walking my Wife up to work, then up through Great Malvern town centre through the Priory grounds and then the Winter Gardens. The lens of choice was the Pentax FA* 24mm f2.0 on the K1 MkII, the lighting was low and strong with a distinctly golden glow - an uplifting day....

Hello john.

The warm glow of the sun on the church and the softness of the flora are very restful. An exercise for the head as much the legs

The Rose Garden gate being ajar makes me want to explore.
Nigel.

Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

I certainly do .

And I like your domestic arrangements - your wife works while you wander round with camera...

Judging from the photos, it must have been a very pleasant walk!

These and your past postings have put Malvern right on the map for me once this mess is cleared up sufficiently.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you all for the kind comments - it was a perfect morning for a walk and as Nigel says exercise for the mind too - I felt so positive when I got back

I can cope with my Wife working while I'm snapping Steve - I'm good like that

David - I wouldn't book a week in Malvern, there isn't that much here - as a resident I've picked out some of the better aspects, all of the above are within a 10 walk

Cheers Ronnie and Flan - Crystal Clear and finger numbing, very pleasant indeed

A variety of lovely photos there. I like in particular the low contrast grasses - very soothing.

Thanks for all the comments - it was nice to feel so upbeat and inspired out with the camera, I don't think I'll be out in the snow today - I nearly slipped going down the garden to the compost bin a few minutes ago
