These are so strong and vibrant, Jon. In your face, or what? I suppose "Prison" is my favourite.

Colour's odd isn't it? I've just been looking at the shots of Whitby on this Forum, thinking how garish and unnatural the colours are, although Andy, the photographer, advises that he didn't increase saturation but it was a result of the light. Here you really need the colours to sing out and hit you between the eyes, as they do.

I really like subjects that lend themselves to vibrant colours, which this type of subject obviously does.

All these pictures are part of an art project called The Living Wall, funded under the Arts Victoria Community Partnerships Program for homeless people.

i-Berg told me Banksy painted something here, and some council worker painted over it!
