A memorable set, Kris. I remember a similar set you took in a New York museum. Isn't it interesting the effect a person has on the black head shot?
I do like no.4. The pose of the two women and their modern clothes make a great contrast with the 18th century painting.
Lovely rich scans. That film can be developed in C41 chemicals, can't it?

Thanks Andrew. This time I was using Ilford Delta 100 which gets developed in normal BW chemicals. The C41 films are Ilford XP2 and Kodak BW400CN.
The New York images were digital rather than film. I didn't take the K20D on this trip!
Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Nice set, number 4 is the standout for me, the processing makes the viewers look like contemporary versions of the figures in the painting, if that makes sense....
Number 3 would be amazing if you could get rid of the people and the white boards on either side. I like it anyway.

Hertfordshire,
mostly.
All shot using a Pentax KM, SMC "K" 50mm f/1.2 lens and Ilford Delta 100ASA. It was so dim in the museum that the KM refused to meter with any lens with a smaller aperture than the 1.2! Mostly shot around f/1.7 to f/2.8.
