More Inkjet Printer Paper - Suggestions needed

Morning

I don't print a lot (and then only up to A4 size) and I've been using up stocks of glossy paper (Ilford "Photo Printasia" and a similar HP paper) that I bought some years ago. However, I'm now running low on that and will soon need to get some more.

Therefore, I would be grateful for suggestions as to what to buy, taking into account the following:
- Printer - Canon Pixma MX895 (5 cartridges, and produces some nice prints!)
- Weight/thickness around 250-300 gm/m3
- Prints are mainly for own use and at our local U3A Photo Group (so no "exhibitions" or "serious" competitions!)
- Don't need the "very best" - and don't want to pay for that either!

Thanks in advance.
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

For my own use and for prints for the local camera club evenings, I use the semi-matt paper from Photo Paper Direct. It has a smooth finish but it is much less prone to reflections from the surroundings than is gloss paper:

You could try a sample set or two, most manufacturers do these. I picked up a few at The Photography Show and suffice to say one paper is better for me by a country mile but of course it is also the most expensive! It is surprising how different photos look on different papers even of similar finish and importing the correct profiles.

Try this, Kodak Ultra Premium Photo Paper, High-Gloss, A4, 20 Sheets for £6.98 with FREE delivery from JSP online via Amazon , i use it in my canon ip7520 with Jet tec ink. I find this works very well.
The older I get the faster I was.

I use PPD "Pearl" 280gsm and have been have with the results. I have a Canon ix6550 printer which is showning it's age now. Can't fault the price of the paper and watch out for special offers.

I have also used PPD and as others say watch out for the offers. And once you have placed your first order you will also get even more "free" offers by email including free packs of paper or delivery etc.
