Looks good. There is no DOF preview with this model, which wouldn't worry me.
It's possible some people might think the data back is worth paying extra for, and bid up the price. Personally, if it went for more than £60 I'd hang fire and wait for another.
The seller can read and write (well, I'm assuming the former), which is always encouraging.

Helen - the Date Back imprints the date and/or time on the image.
Whether that's a useful feature depends on your needs

Indeed, it can be useful but I've always thought that exposure data would be better

For the vast majority of people it's worth nothing at all.
If you really, really, really need to know the exact time and day the shot was taken, then by all means get it. But if not, forget it.

This looks interesting - the camera body would cost around £140 if you paid shop second hand prices, and you would be getting two lenses as well for hopefully much less. For me, it would be worth £100 of my money, but it's a personal judgement and you need to decide how far you will go and stick to it.
If you still need one, in a couple of weeks I will be offering a very nice Pentax MZ5 with the 28-70mm f4 lens. Someone has the option on it at present, and I have given them some time to think it over. After that, if they don't want it then eBay it will be...

When I said forget it, what I meant was don't buy this camera just for that feature. If it's a good deal anyway, then by all means go for it.

You people are so useful! I was thinking about £100, and I suppose I'm quite happy to pay that so we shall see. Failing that...I'll wait and see in a couple of weeks, ha ha.

Interestingly, I found a near mint MZ5 in the LCE branch in Nottingham about a week ago for £45. The only AF fim camera that seems to holding it's price at the moment is the MZ-S. At these sort of prices, The MZ5 would be a better buy than a SFXn with it's much slower focusing.
