Number three and four for me, John, although she needs to ease off on the mascara! (Not your fault, obviously) The colour in the first two is a bit red. can't think why. I'd clone-out that naff nose stud, too. (Although the girl will hate you for it!)
What you've done is to show the personality of tyese girls and, bearing in mind your time and space restrictions, that's a real achievement.
Regards,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew, much appreciated...
I quite like the nose stud myself, but I can see why most wouldn't like it. And also yeah, she was quite feisty, so reckon she would want it left there! lol!
In the time I had I thought these came out quite well...the bottom two are two of my favourites from the set but I totally agree with you on the mascara....she was VERY heavily made up, but I think she was trying to mask a bit of bad skin.....so can't blame her for that I guess. And it was her choice...I didn't get a lot of say in that at all...lol!
As for the colour, looks Ok on my monitor which was calibrated, but you're not the only one to say it actually, so not sure whats going on there....will have to look into that more closely....
Thanks again Andrew....appreciated

... the second one, the left side of her shoulder etc. looks very straight indeed, almost as if it's cropped.
And here, too, #1 is too red and #2 is better.
I also really like the look of the last one, would be better with a bit of fill (reflector) from the left, though, to soften the shadows somewhat. IMO, of course

HI Bret
No, not cropped....thats the way she was stood and I think the harsh light on that side has taken some detail, making it look a touch straight....now you have said it, I know what you see....I didn't see that before, but no cropping....almost straight out of the camera.....
I didn't get use of a reflector....the studio had the most amazing lighting gear (full range of Bowens ceiling hanging lights and runners, backdrops etc), but no reflectors! So had to make do with fill in light....didn't really work...but know what you are saying...I would try and bring the shadow a bit less harsh next time, but like I said before....the constraints of the shoot were very much against me. Much appreciated on the comments though! Thank you!

These seem like quite a challenge, even with all the gear available to you. I think you've done well.
I like the last one best, if you crop out her hands, which have blown highlights. The highlight on her bottom lip is a bit odd, but hey, a girl's gotta have her lip gloss!!

Thank you! Yeah, was a struggle to even get a shot, let alone a series of them, so guess the results weren't too bad! lol! I tried to burn the highlight, but my photoshop skills are pretty poor, so went back to the original as I made such a hash of it. But well spotted. Thats my big annoyance with it too....I think the last one is my favourite too! Thanks so much for your kind comments! Appreciated!
