out standing set i would say better than the last
8 is superb
2 is out standing but 3 i cant put into words
only to say i think that barnny there has a cheeky streak the way he is looking down the lens with that pose

No 3 is stupendous!

I'm speechless. If I saw a sight like that I might forget to use the camera

Amazing images, Alan. No. 3 in particular would stand out in any wildlife photo exhibition. Fantastic. We need you to get back in the habit of posting your inspirational photos more regularly!

Thanks for feedback guys - all much appreciated. To answer Gary's question, these were all with the K3 and the DA 560mm.

Amazing the difference a bit of light makes. I've been going to this location for about 4 years and all my previous pictures have been in low light. This year we have a pair (and sometimes a third owl) showing in decent light.

It's taken me a while to figure these shots out Alan. After a phone call to Harvey's Pet Shop on Delaval Terrace, Blythe (01670 540456) they confirmed that a shady character carrying a white rocket launcher had purchased their whole stock of field mice.

So by releasing a mouse every five minutes it was only a matter of time before the owls got wise to the free meals running around the field and as shown above, the rest is now history.

Well sorted that man.
