Moon shot (with a free lens!)

As I mentioned in another thread recently, I acquired a Tamron 500mm f8 mirror lens from ebay recently. I wasn't really looking for this lens, but it was a bit of a bargain! The lens was listed with original hood and caps, a Nikon mount, an Olympus mount, a Pentax PK mount, plus a 01F 2x teleconverter. In the blurry ebay photo one of the mounts had three bright spots on the rim, so I bid like a crazy man :D Won the auction for £105, and the lens arrived a couple of days ago in virtually mint condition, AND the Pentax adapter turned out to be a PKA adapter :mrgreen: I already have a PKA adapter, so I've already listed all of the new mounts and TC for sale on ebay. I'm hopeful that this lens will end up being free! In fact this lens doesn't really need a PKA adapter due to the fixed aperture, so I'm just using it with a cheap regular PK adapter. Obviously this pales in comparison to Father Ted's telescope shots, but I wasn't too unhappy with the results.
