i came here because i wanted some advice on night time settings and lens as i am going out with a couple of guys to shoot light trails and find there is a competition, well i may have to enter.

I've not shot my image yet either - looking for some sparer time I can venture out at the right time of night.

Sorry my image of Köln caused upset, I had missed the point in the rules it being taken within that month, i'd only do the weekly competion before..

The forum software isn't showing any date for the first image, are you using something else, Jak?

Right click the image and FXif (a Firefox addon) shows the exif data as:

Stan, it has always been the custom that we can discuss the entries here and the judge doesn't look in

Yes, I'm aware of that. It was the comments in the comments box on the images I was referring to. Made before the close of the competition and judging. I'm not saying this would influence the judge in any way.
