Do you find 1/15s risky for movement? I would have gravitated to something a bit faster, even if that meant upping the ISO to 200 or 400 on the K-1.

Thanks for showing us the colour ones ...... I actually think you were right to choose the Mono .... there's more of a pull towards the face with the mono. In the colour version the powerful red and blond tones compete. But its a striking effect .....

I wonder if you should reduce the red channel strength on her skin tones? .... I think a purer white tone would contrast better with the red surrounds. The warmer tones work well on the beach shot though.

Hi Richard,

Yes, potentially, I went with the flow of the shoot and didnt notice the shutter speed dropping, fortunately the technique side of things is reasonable along with the Pentax in body IS

Oh its the BW for me. Far more a striking image... Nice to see one that doesnt have over processed skin tones...
