Monitor calibration

Just a brief question and I have added a poll.

How do you set the whitepoint of your LCD monitor when you profile a monitor.

I had my LCD at 6500K before, but I found out that the display wasn't really stable at this setting. I had to profile quite often to keep consistent results.

I have now switched to a native whitepoint which according to my i1 is 3900K. The results seem to be more consistent over time.
