Misty Malverns

A couple of hours walking this afternoon didn't look to promising, a cold miserable mist hung around the approach to the hills, but once we'd got high enough to break through there was some sun and some interesting views. Worth a click to see a bigger size .....

Very enjoyable indeed. 3 has some magic to it, as does 4, its darker counterpart.

The first 4 are great. Number 1 in mono has a lovely vintage feel to it.

A remarkable and stunning set. Hard to believe that the dramatic, impressionistic first four are the glorious and peaceful English countryside of the Malvern hills.

Beautiful photos of a beautiful area. I've walked up there a few times and have happy memories

I'm always the awkward so and so. I really like #2 - and #4 could almost be smoke from a fire. There was no shortage of drama up there.

Thank you all for your comments - forgot to mention these were taken with the Ricoh GRIII. When we were prepping to go out I didn't think there'd be anything to see, so a last minute decision to pop the compact in the coat pocket turned out to be a good decision

I love the colour shots, they just go to show it is always best to have a camera with you; as a rule they only appear when you have left it at home.
