It raises a question in my mind: could you have turned out something as good if she was a model rather than you wife?
I'm with your wife 100% re not wanting her photo put on social media, I don't want personal pictures of me on social media either. Nothing to do with how beautiful I am (not!!!), some of us simply aren't comfortable with it - and contrary to what much of the population seems to think, it's not obligatory
