Its always the case isn't it, take the camera and see nothing unique, leave it at home and your almost guaranteed to see a squirrel riding a dolphin up the local river!!
I took a short cut the other day and spotted a bird of prey feasting on a pigeon, I had the camera on the sling by my side, as soon as I went for it flew off!
One day you'll find, 10yrs have got behind you.
