Hi Steve,
As for the non pentax shot, don't worry. It is a lovely portret and you are right in loving this very much. It doesn't matter wich camera you used. As long as you have seen the light and use Pentax now, we tend to forgive some early life sins The graphical light tubes I like alot also. Strong colours and comp. Should be on the wall, nicely framed.
The spider pic could be a bit stronger. I guess I like to see the legs, and this position is not the strongest. The backround is a bit to distracting, and draws back the intention from the drops. But......,keep those portrets and strong colour graphics coming. The are worth it.

Spider on a dewy morning.........

I would ask you to let me indulge myself with this last picture. The reason being it was shot on a Minolta d'Image 7i back in 2005. I know this is a Pentax forum but this is probably the best picture I have taken so far and I love showing it so please forgive me........
