Miranda f2.8 MC macro

Found this lens in a charity shop for a tenner .

What's your thought on sharpness of this lens .

Having said it wasn't worth bothering with on your other thread, it looks to have rendered nicely here .... I'd say your F4.0 shot looks best and would probably take a bit more sharpening at a small radius. It the lens works well then why not ?

This is one of the "overlooked" oldies. It will consistently produce excellent results and will focus very close indeed (considering it isn't a dedicated macro lens)
If you see one, buy it (but do note that there is also a plain vanilla 28mm as well)

Any reason the exif shows them all to be taken at 1/15th @ f2.8 and is it actually a 24mm lens?
