Shot last weekend, a decent walk from Minions ( the highest village in Cornwall at 980ft above sea level ) to The Cheesewring at 1250ft above sea level, the 4th highest point in the county, fairly changeable weather as well over a couple of hours

All with the K1 and either a nifty fifty or a Samyang 14mm

The Hurlers stones are a short walk from the village

Then a group of 22 stones

About a mile further across the moor - past this tree.

Then the climb to the top - its clear which way the wind blows

Beautiful, carefully considered photos and a fascinating narrative to link them together.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Big skies and the landscape's getting progressively wilder, nice work!

Thank you all for your feedback, really appreciated 👍

It's been over 10 years since I was last there, a good friend and fellow photographer came to stay so I thought I'd drag him up there.

It'll be a good spot for some astro when it's less cloudy.

Great images. Very well photographed.

Second one jumps out as that long cloud line hovers over the stones......

Best regards
