Metadata Info

When in Elements 5 or CS2, does anyone know if it is possible to copy and paste the metadata info displayed by an image, rather than having to copy it out manually?

In Elements 5, and indeed in CS3 (so I presume in CS2 also), you can go to:

File | File Info | Advanced,

.. and then save the EXIF as a .xmp file, which much resembles XML. It will open in Firefox, and it displays in a moderately readable format.

Not sure this is ideal - are there XMP readers out there?
