I think the CRV3's last a little longer than the Lithium AAs, but certainly no where near the price difference!

I'm not sure what the deal is with the CRV3's, having opened up a dead one, it's just two AA's in a custom shell so that they fit the right way in camera...:

Then you haven't tried Eneloops. Rechargeable battery technology has improved in recent years to the point where it's almost not worth buying Alkaline's at all. Sanyo Eneloops, and other similarly designed battery, are streets ahead of NiCd or NiMh battery technology of a few years ago.I did try a set of rechargeable batteries but they only lasted marginally longer than a standard AA.

As for Memory Cards i use 2 Sandisk Extreme111 8 gig for my K7 even they are too small for shooting Video i will get some larger cards when the price of class 6 ones drop a bit, I regularly Format them every few months to avoid any corruption of the data, I also photograph my Name, Phone and E-Mail Details on each card after Formatting using the lowest quality JPEG then lock it so that it does`nt get erased. I have some older 1 and 2 gig Sandisk Extreme III`s which i use when my 8 gigs are full.

If you are still buying alkaline batteries, you should think about investing in a set of Sanyo Eneloop (or similar) rechargeables. Cheap as chips nowadays and far superior power/life to alkalines. Once charged, they hold 80% of their charge for a year.
Check here. But if you are thinking of upgrading to a K10/20D or K-7 any time soon, don't waste your money on these. All those cameras have a proprietary battery.
I did try a set of rechargeable batteries but they only lasted marginally longer than a standard AA. I would have tried lithium rechargeable sets, but according to the manual, that is a no-no.
