I have had a discussion with MattyH following his advert.

I now wanted to follow up with a further message about something that may be of interest but get a response:

What does this mean? Has he logged out? Not posted for a day?

Normally that would mean he has either asked to be removed from the forum or has been banned for some reason. I'm guessing it's the latter as I see no reason for him leaving of his own accord.

Seems odd, he was a longish term member.
One day you'll find, 10yrs have got behind you.

What on earth did he do to transgress? I thought he was one of the good old guys. Must have missed something while I was abroad.
Best wishes,

Andrew

If he's no longer a member here, try googling 'MattyH' and 'Pentax' and see if he's active elsewhere under the same screen name...

Personally I'll happily try out any Forums around if they are of interest. The us and them stuff is silly as it has been in the past re other such groups. Love of photography should be the binding interest surely?

you'd think wouldn't you ? That does, though, require the people running any such forums to hold a similar view.

I found him this morning and commented on that, however a mod seems to think that that information is CONFIDENTIAL and deleted the post.

I must admit I find it strange that moderators should delete a post because it's showing confidential information about a forum member that they themselves have banned and who is therefore not a forum member at this time
