Making identification labels

Hi,

I'm looking for ideas on how to make aesthetically pleasing identification labels which can be glued to a lens cap. The ones I've made, using the normal printer label, become scruffy and marked over time, there must be a better material available.

Any thoughts,
Greg

if you can get some very heavy duty clear tape, you can then put this over the printed labels, and cut neatly with a razorblade.

Sorry, can't remember the brand, but its like sellotape but much thicker... we use it at work to stick on flightcases over labels, and it will last pretty-much indefinatly being thrown in/out of trucks etc...
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

Retro, Dymo tape. £5 off ebay.

Or more modern electronic versions cost £20 ish again Dymo or Brother.
Lurking is shirking.!
