I'm sure there will be a reply very soon - the office is not closed as it's all part of ePHOTOzine. EPZ and this site are very much continuing and active, it's only the magazine which isn't being produced.
Best regards, John

Could someone give us dates on which publication should have taken place next year so we can work out how many we will be missing?

I assumed it was Jan. Apr. Jul. Oct. i.e. 4 four issues for an annual supscription, so the actual dates did not matter.

Incidentally, does anyone else think it's odd that the advert to subscribe is still showing? At least for me.

This wasn't an attempt to be underhand.
Here's our thinking.
Clubs/subscription services don't usually refund anything when they close/fold. We have decided to honour subscriptions.
We no longer keep bank details on file and many of the members do not have email system so each one needs to be handled individually. So we would have had to send a mailshot out. No need if we put it in the magazine.

Heres an idea guys, many of us will find it more trouble than its worth getting a refund, why not simply instruct PU to give the refund to charity.
I think I will.
Great idea! I'm in. But now which charity? It may make more sense to choose a charity and those who want to ask for their subscription to be donated to that single charity - making a good donation, and easier (maybe) for PU to administer.

How about the Pentax Marketing Fund? They really need it. Great idea! I'm in. But now which charity?
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hi all,
I've just had a nice email from Dan [email protected] who has agreed to my suggestion of some back issues (from those available) in compensation.
Much appreciated

I liked the two issues that I received. It really is sad that the magazine couldn't be kept going...

Hi,
a selection of 8 back issues arrived in post yesterday. Thanks for prompt service!
Some fun reading to be had. It is a shame the magazine closed

But then 'Clubs/subscription services' don't usually carry on web only - they close/fold and that's that. This wasn't an attempt to be underhand.

It's a great shame that the mag couldn't continue, and I sympathise with any staff affected, as well as the printer/finisher for whom times are especially tough at the moment.

Well I have had my refund, through my credit card.
The charity idea wasn't feasible sadly. I may still give it to a charity though.
I shall miss the magazine and it's inspirational photos and articles. I like my magazines on paper I have to admit.
