Does anyone know of a set of macro extension rings that I could attach my AF Sigma 105mm macro lens to. If the rings also are the ones don't offer any communication between lens and camera, ie the cheaper ones seen on Ebay, is there anyway of setting an aperture?

You can attach any extension tubes to your Sigma 105 lens, as I do with mine. The Sigma has its own aperture ring so there is no problem setting the aperture.

I wouldn't recommend cheapo ones from ebay though. Get some quality Vivitar or similar from an online retailer like Ffordes Photography - you will only pay 15 to 20 for a high quality used set that will last you forever.

I love using extension tubes with my Sigma 105 and also with a variety of 50mm lenses I have, the best of these is probably the Pentax-M 50mm F1.4 that is great for macro as it is very sharp.
