cokin z on the cheap

Hi,

I am pondering the idea to buy a compatible cokin Z holder on the cheap:

- holder + 82mm adapter (my largest lens) = 31 pounds
- kood ND grad HE ND4+ND8 = 35 pounds

the total amount is not negligible so I want to be sure to not waste money.

The reason why I am thinking about getting it, is my 10-20mm....even with the cokin P wide, I am sure I am going to get vignetting at 10mm.

do you think is a wise investment? Can I use step up ring to adapt the adapter to other lenses?

I have some kood filters for sale, only been used a few times. ND4 hard and soft. Say fifteen quid the pair plus postage and I'll throw in various stepping rings? No holder at present, it's somewhere at my ex's flat (if you can wait a week or two I might be able to dig it out, for say five quid?

Edit - sorry wasn't paying attention, mine are Cokin P! I have used them with the sigma 10-20 though, but by holding it to the front of the lens with my fingers lol... To be honest I hate using these filters...
