It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Twitch! that is the next lens on my list and that price is blistering - thanks for the "heads up" GTIS
Only thing is that I have this thing that "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is".
I wonder if it's another Jessops type stunt.

No, should be fine. I got my Samsung 12-24 from them for £200 a few months back. If it's in stock grab it quick at that price.
Just wish I had the spare cash at the moment, but I'd like to live....

Lens ordered, but their website is painfully bad. Had to log on at least fifteen times, got so fed up with the customer survey pop-up that I agreed to do it. Question 1 was "you are currently shopping - do you intend to continue?", and when I answered yes, it said I didn't need to take the survey. Back to the original site and you guessed it - would I like to take the survey. I tried to enter a delivery address at work, but it is utterly incapable of handling any other form of address than number/postcode. Nearly needed a new monitor. There is no excuse for a website to be this bad. Still even more to look forward to on Friday.
Sorry for the rant.

Nothing much to choose between them. I chose the Sigma.

Perhaps the main plus for the Pentax is the quick shift focusing. Makes using AF to get in the right ball park and manual for fine tuning very easy to do. I have the Sigma 50mm and wish I had gone for the Pentax for just that reason.
Image-wise, probably not very much between them.
