Longbow

Father Ted · 2009-05-26T23:15:07+0100

I took my camera for one of my friends in our archery club this evening. She is thinking of taking up photography again, but didn't like digital, so I said she could have a look at mine. She's now thinking of getting a Pentax! Anyway, while I was waiting for her to arrive I got a couple of shots, ( not with my bow  ). I like this one. C&C as always please.

All English males over the age 14 are required to carry out 2 hours of longbow practice every week and said practice should be supervised by the local clergy.
In Chester, you can only shoot a Welsh person with a bow and arrow inside the city walls and after midnight.
In Hereford, you may not shoot a Welsh person on Sunday with a longbow in the Cathedral Close.
In York:, excluding Sundays, it is perfectly legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow.

Ancient laws still on the statute books!
Allegedly
