Just thought I'd show a couple of the results from my trip into London on Sunday - had great light all day...

Thanks to some guidance in another thread I've managed to have my first real go at processing RAW's and have uploaded the better ones on here:

Here's a couple of my faves... constructive criticism very welcome!

Well I am glad someone is having great light to play with!

Nice shots Spirit, especially that first one, but I think its time for the old saying to be modified.....right time, right place....right camera!

alternatively...."what nice pictures, you must have a very good camera". ROFL

Hello Folks, perhaps the aforementioned saying could end with:-

Right chap, right camera.

super pix, hope to get some myself, soon?

Hi Will,

the top one's a cracker. I like the way you've managed the sun's reflection off the building into the water. Just tops it off,

Cheers

Thanks Liam / Spider...

Have been having a debate with my missus if she actually took that top one - I had been playing with the Panoramic at the time and only took a few shots with the K10D using it's spot metering to double check my handheld... It needed rotating slightly to correct a wonky horizon so could have been Sarah that took it - if so, what you're saying about the "right camera" is all true as she's barely ever picked up a SLR!!!

PHEW...!!! It was me that took it - just checked the shot data and it was on spot metering... My only mitigation for it being on the tilt was that all tripod space was already occupied!
