One of our brilliant open air museums offers a host of photographic opportunities e.g.: Blists Hill, Black Country, Beamish.

This post disappeared so I had to rewrite itnot sure what happened
I can sometimes be located in a pub
Any suggestions for interesting places to visit/photograph?

I am considering going, although it's a three hour drive for me, so i'd want to be convinced that the weather is going to be in my favour.
I will be exploring the deep south around Battle whilst playing in the new campervan and then over to the New Forest.

the hillier grdens are nice at romsey and exbury is nice
Rye, East Sussex. Very olde worldy. A friend of mine comes from there and their shop was converted to a pub for filming Black Beard. I think it's Mermaid street the famous street. Great little town.
The Jack and Jill windmills on the South Downs near Ditchling beacon and Brighton. You can go in one of them and watch it all working. Great views north over the Weald.
Bodium castle is great. Went there on a school trip long time ago. Proper castle with moat.
Bluebell railway is down that way too. Great day out.

I'll suggest Arley Hall in Cheshire and Biddulph Grange Gardens near Congleton, also in Cheshire. Near to Biddulph is also Kypersley Reservoir, which is surrounded by an interesting bit of woodland with plenty of walks.
