Hi Mark,
My favourites have to be numbers 3 & 4. I love the lopsided wrought iron around the tomb in number 3, the detail is beautiful, and a real atmosphere is created in that shot.
Number 4 has a great blue sky which really sets off the statue. One problem, I can see pixelation in "halos" in the sky. Is this intentional or a side-effect of resizing?
The tomb photo with coloured tiles is interesting. I've never seen one with colour on (I do like me graveyards too). But I think there is too much sky. Maybe if it was croppped down at the top, the interest would immediately go to the colourful tomb.
Good work though, and as I say, I do like graveyards for taking photos. Sometimes I feel it's the only place you can witness true craftsmanship that doesn't exist today - sad, but true.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions Poppy.
I find Graveyards are great places to see wonderful Architecture and Art. I'm off to Highgate in a couple of weeks time, really looking forward to it.

Hey, no probs.
Have a good time on your outing! Unfortunately I've got a bit of a cold at the moment (caught the "man flu" from my other half) so I have no plans to go out and about at least for the next few days!!
I'd love to see your results from Highgate when you get back

Might I suggest a visit to almost any builder of timber boats : ...................................Sometimes I feel it's the only place you can witness true craftsmanship that doesn't exist today - sad, but true.
The craftsmanship is amazing

I would love to visit a boat yard or boat maker. There just aren't many of them in the centre of England!!
Joking aside, I am a stickler for traditional crafts and skills - it took me quite some time to "trust" digital photography over 35mm.
Talking of craftsmen, I was in Aylesbury town centre (my home town) on Sunday taking photos for the weekly competition and noticed that the Market Square clock tower had been "touched up". Unfortunately council workers had filled cracks in the stonework with modern day mortar instead of getting a stone mason to work some colour-matched magic. It looked horrific, so if you could suggest a good boatyard to see real craftsman at work, as soon as I shake off the lurgie I will go!

A shame about your local council workers
A visit to a not too distant cathedral should provide evidence of modern day skills in relation to stonework, albeit generally restricted to restoration.
Builders of timber boats are spread far and wide - Cornwall, Hampshire, Suffolk etc. - but a visit to the Southampton boat show should reveal a handful of stunning timber boats amongst the GRP exhibits.
I do have some photographs at work of an amazing brand new classic yacht in the Hamble. It cost multi millions.

I was visiting Fairlie in connection with work and they showed me over the yacht to demonstrate their skills.
I keep telling myself that the only reason I do not have one these yachts is because they are too large too be handled by just two people

Ok, what on earth do you do for work??! You lucky thing!
And yes, it would take far more than 2 people to control one of those! So I am going to live by the same reasoning until I win the lottery!
(Are you waiting for the competition judging too??)

On a somewhat more modest scale, but closer to home, you could try visiting one of the classic launch builders on the Thames. There is a good one at Hurley.

What makes the craftsmanship on a boat special is the need to design not merely for aesthetic pleasure, but also for the peculiar demands made on a boat - stresses in every direction, 90 degree tilting, extremes of temperature, damp, saltiness - together with strength and efficient use of space, which is always at a premium on a boat.
There is enormous pleasure to be gained from merely contemplating a well-built boat.
