Live View isn't 100% accurate. Try focusing from the infinity side mark on the lens until it's in focus and put a mark on the lens using some sticky paper. Repeat from the Minimum Focus end of the scale and mark again. You will probably finish up with 2 marks a small distance apart.
It would be interesting to hear how focus peaking works on this. I haven't got it on my K-5. Does it it give accurate results from both ends of the lens scale.

With any lens test you also need to repeat the focus-shoot loop at least 4 times and pick out the best.
