we've had a few nice sunsets in the last week or two, and I finally got around to shooting one. Both of these were a bit of a surprise, and not what I thought I'd get, but I'm glad about that. Got to get lucky sometime I guess..

I love shooting sunsets - but while i'm home in suffolk for a week i thought i'd shoot some of the coast.
Sadly that means getting up at some daft time of day to shoot the sunrise!

We were in Suffolk a few months ago on the trail of a distant relative. This took us to Boulge, Woodbridge and area and it was photographically very rewarding.
Next time we'll be looking at Norfolk.

Liam, Dexteruk, nice pics, really like them both.
I managed to crawl out of bed one July morning to capture this;
Largo Bay is nice for sunrises but it faces out into the North Sea, so not it's so good for sunset's.

10 pints spread over almost 12 hours. I even took some photographs of Southwold that day. Must dig them out and see how many horizons were out of kilter and how much shake crept in during the day!

Again nice shots Brian and Dexter, I especially like th eway you've bth got the reflection in the beach. It's foggy around here at the moment, so I may have to wait a few days for another decent sunset/rise, but there are a couple of nice vantage points for a sort of urban shot.

(Mind you I was up early anyway - I'd run my folks to the airport at Half Three - so was on the way back when I went to get the shots - had to wait for the sun to emerge...)

Technically a touch better than Lamp Light, and again taken at Southsea this evening. I added titles to both to postcardify them, and it seems writing all over my images helps.
