Interesting technique. It would have been nice to pick out the neck of the bottle and perhaps use a little more light overall. What was the thinking behind the crop, and the central placement of the bottle? I would have gone with a standard 3:2 crop and placed the bottle to one side.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I agree that the neck should be painted as well. The battery was nearly dead in the torch which is why it took a 6 sec exp and still end up dark overall. Il change the batteries and try again with a more standard crop.

ok iv had a little play in ps, the battery gave up in the torch and cant get out to get new ones yet,


on a seperate not im having trouble with cs5, have just changed pc, now on windows 8 and the profiles are out as i now have to proof colours in ps to see anything like i see with picassa which is my default viewer, grr it is annoying

Settings were : 6 sec exp, iso 100, f8, K5 with da*50-135 f2.8
cc is welcome although i might like it, it may not be what it should be, if that makes any sense
