Alright a lieveheersbeestje for you made on a vacation to Denmark.
Made two version with differend post procession and I like to know which one you prefer. This isn't a test so don't be scared to answer.
If you wanna go yourself say so and will upload a RAW file for you.

#1. PP with the things I normally do, nothing really special.

#2. Went a bit more creative.

#3. Made this one after some comments, almost the same as photo one. It has a bit more vibrance, some vignette and a warm filter.

K10D - DA*50-135
ISO 200 - 135mm - focus distance 1m - f/2.8 - 1/125 sec

-edit: saved the creative photo over the normall photo, just a sec
-edit2: it seems I did it alright but you hardly see a difference on the web...
Still look closely and you see a diffrence

Number 2 looks a lot more vivid and sharper but I like number 1 better.

I prefer the first Stefan. The second one seems oversharpened & the highlight on the ladybug is off-putting.

First lady bird for me Stefan, second one a bit to over sharpened

Thank you for your comments, the funny thing is that the sharpening of the two is preciesly the same btw

The first one has very mild adjustments in Lightroom to get the exposure perfect then it went into Photoshop and got some sharpening a softlight layer and curves with linear contrast.

The second one I've pulled the recovery slider to full in lightroom, also contrast, clarity & vibrance went to almost full, blacks & fill lights halfway and saturation went down to compisate for the high vibrance.
Then in photoshop did the same sharpening & cruve, a heavier softlight layer and a warm photo filter.

The things I did in lightroom there with the last one I used with another photo before and it came out pretty good so wanted to try it out on other photos but wasn't sure it worked one this one.

I prefer the first and it also looks the sharpest to me.

What do you think about the third one?

I was thinking about a crop but don't think it's needed with the vignette?

I like the warm filter, but personally don't like the dark
corners, I prefer the corners left as the first one. You could
crop it and get rid of the dead leaves, possibly move the
ladybird to 1/3rd in from the left and 1/3rd up from the
bottom. That's just my feelings.

Everyone is diffrend so don't worry about it, your comments are very appreciated so I did what you said Shim with the last photo since you cropped away the dark corners anyway.

It becomes a completely differend photo like this.

That one's is OK to me Stefan, but the first is still a good alternative.
You could even crop more and crop off the leaves at the top..... just scroll your screen up and see what I mean. The ladybird is now half way up from the bottom.

Shim, I see what you mean, you crop that distracting bokeh away or maybe even a tigther crop will work.

Think I will go for the first one with a warm filter if I will do something with it, just my personal taste.
