Lenses cases

Hi new Digi user...
Has any one got any idea as to were i can get some form of Lens case or storage ????

A friend keeps his vast collection of Pentax glass in a glass display cabinet (an expensive dust free one!) when he is not using them.
Otherwise they are on the camera or in the camera bag.

I keep mine in my backpack most of the time, but have cases for some of them, which came with the lenses, and have bought a couple of others, for when I don't want to lug the whole shooting match around. My backpack is now full - to overflowing - so some will get permanently relegated to cases soon.
Lowepro and Tamrac amongst others do lens cases for individual lenses. they can be attached to a backpack of the same make.

It is best NOT to keep lenses in cases, which provide a nice environment for fungus.

I keep mine on an open shelf, facing down, caps on, wide-open.

Wow. There was me, doing exactly that, thinking, I must be apostate, I should find somewhere better.

Still, where better than that, to be able to count how many you have. Less the number on loan from family members, of course.

Thanks for that i have been looking at some form of air tight tub with a lid i have a divelopers container but it's not long enough..
