Hi,
Any reasonable camera tech should be able to straighten for you and I wouldn't expect hin to charge more than a few pounds. (http://www.daphotography.com/repair.html) Alternatively, do it yourself. There are special tools you can buy for such things but an easier and cheaper method is to make your own. Get a piece of hardwood and cut a semicircle in the edge of it the same radius as the filter mount. Rest the lens in it (best get a friend to help - my daughter has become quite good at it!) and knock the dent out with another shaped piece of wood or hard plastic such as a toothbrush handle. Details here http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/filterringtool.html

The lens still operates perfectly well and is optical just as good as it always was, however the impact was all taken by the filter mount which is no longer useable.
Here is a picture of the damage:
Does anyone with experience of these things know if that can be fixed, and at what sort of cost?
