Lens compatibility

Hello,i have 3 prime & 2 Pentax zoom bayonet lenses which i use on my mx.My daughter has been given a Praktica which takes m42 lenses,is there an adaptor available so she can use my lenses.Thank you for any help.

You should hopefully be able to pick one up from SRB (www.srbfilm.co.uk).

I think it's usually more common to go the other way (mount m42 on a PK camera) but, from what I gather, SRB are pretty helpful and if one isn't available might even be able to make you one bespoke (I have no idea how much that would cost though).

Sorry to dash your hopes, but the width of the bayonet is much greater than 42mm, which is why 42mm lenses can be fitted to bayonet cameras, but not the other way round.
