LCD screen magnifier

I would think there are other older users with this problem. I set the viewfinder dioptre adjustment for my long sightedness (reading glasses)and use the viewfinder normally. On the occasions I need to use the LCD screen I have to put on my reading glasses. The ideal although unlikely solution is a dioptre adjustable LCD screen. I've seen these:-

... are they any good. I think I've seen an expensive version that does in fact have dioptre adjustment.

Hi Dave,

I use a Hoodman on my K5's LCD screen and it has made a tremendous difference. The Hoodman is very well made and has a dioptre adjustment and the optics are good but their standard method of attaching the loupe to the camera with elastic bands is very primitive and a pain. I see the version you are looking at has what may be a better attachment to the camera.

My eyesight is very bad and I must admit that I'm using the setup more and more, particularly for my MF telephoto lenses. For convenience sake I made a custom quick mount for mine.

Thanks Greg. Looks better as it has dioptre adjustments. That's some smart looking engineering you've done there. We might be asking for a few other mods.
