If you sold one of those guitars, you could buy an FA* 600

Well, I've had a quick play with the Tokina 28mm and it isn't at all bad. Focussing is backwards compared to Pentax lenses but at around f4 or so it was decently sharp. I might add a dab of grease to the helix as it feels/sounds rough, but it turns smoothly enough. That depends on my finding a source for suitable grease with an applicator nozzle to keep it under control!

Eh? I googled that and the results weren't suitable for a family audience!
Here's a test shot from this evening - I've just swapped to shooting RAW on the grounds that you can fiddle with exposure settings after, but I'm still playing around and learning how to process. f5.6, 1/45 sec, ISO 200:

A bit soft, but not too shabby. I can see this lens proving useful for things like long exposures as the A setting will make metering very simple.

Yes, totally agree, you'd have to pry the FA35 from my cold dead fingers along with the FA135 and Sigma 24The Dark Side is when you have the 77 Ltd and FA*85

Sorry Matt - didn`t mean to scare you !
Isn`t that the reservoir at Vyrnwy ? I`m sure I went there as a rep one afternoon and got buzzed by an RAF jet - best cure for constipation I ever used - lol.
Nice soft shot though

Tony - I think that's Craig Goch in the Elan Valley area - but the water's dropped a bit since I was there a few weeks ago...

Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...
