Last magazine

It was with horror that I read that I have just received the very last printing of the Pentaxuser magazine. What a mistake! This move is completely ignoring members who do not have a computer, if any, or members who do not want to read the magazine via the computer screen, I don't. I like the feel of a magazine in my hands and I can take it to where I want to read it, and then read it, not wait for a computer to boot up, then go onto the internet, then go onto the website, then find the magazine, then remember where I had got to! What a mistake, PRINT AND KEEP PRINTING THE MAGAZINE, that's the whole idea, portability. And how do i get my money back. If the website is open to any one, what has happened to the exclusivity of owning a Pentax.

This was announced on the website, and the forum several months ago.
There is an article at the rear of the magazine telling you how to get your remaining subscription back.
Have a look at thisthread too.

Not only that, I don't think it was a their decision to take without first consulting the membership by post. Effectively they have closed the club without refering to the members, which is probably illegal!

The club is still there (I think) but they are closing/changing a service of the club.

No, they have stopped publishing a magazine, which they are entitled to do.
Nothing illegal about it.
You can still use the forum, and read the new online format magazine.
It was never a club with rules and regulations. It was a magazine you could subscribe to.
When that was no longer financially viable they chose to stop publishing it, as is their right.
They are still providing a free! forum and online service.
