Lake District early November

Hi all

Here are a few from our weekend in the Lakes, many thanks for those who provided suggestions for locations.

We travelled quite a lot in the car and the photo's were more a result of what the weather was up to when we were in any given place that any planning other then the second, and sunny trip to Tarn Hows.

Firstly an interesting National Trust property on a wet day in Ambleside

Very nice Stuey, the 'Tarn Hows' shots are the ones that catch my eye, they are very 'clean looking' with lovely colours and nice sharp details.

Are these with a different lens to the rest of the images as to my eye they look better?

With the exception to Windermere and Coniston which were taken with the Sigma 50mm the rest are with my old Vivitar 28mm f2.8 mf jobbie

The first shot was with the K10 and the rest with the K5

The second of the sunny Tarn Hows is gorgeous. I like all the Ullswater ones too. Pays to take a chance

Well done there catching the beautiful light when it came through. Very good set with the lakes looking great . But really, come on, they should have been shot at least at ISO 12,600 so I could spot some noise somewhere

Perhaps I should take more photo's of rock bands for more noise - or have I misunderstood this
