Welcome, I've moved your question to a section where it will gain more attention.
I would make sure the dioptre adjustment is correct in the viewfinder. Point the camera at a blank surface, wall or sky perhaps, and adjust the slider until the etched lines in the viewfinder are sharpest. You are now focused on the screen itself and the view through the finder should be fine.
Otherwise, I too am very shortsighted and use glasses with my cameras and I don't have any particular problem. Press the viewfinder tight against the glasses so as much as possible of the screen can be seen at one time.

Hi.... what sort of problems are you having with your glasses?
If it is out of focus / blurred, there is a little adjustment lever above the viewfinder (diopter) which you can slide about.
If you can't see the image fully, because the glasses are pushing you back, you could try shooting with LiveView (LV button on the back) instead?
just a couple of initial thoughts...

Oh, the little numbers at the bottom telling you what settings you have? Sorry, I can't help much there - I can't read them either most of the time...

I've the same problem my glasses are not just varifocal they are light sensitive as well and the combination makes me really careful .
I find that keeping my head still while looking in the viewfinder and then just letting my eye look down slightly so-to-speak usually brings the wee row of icons into view.
Make sure you do not turn the bleep confirming focus off . If I'm in bright light I frequestly can't see the green hexagon confirming focus but I can hear the bleep

If it is not a diopter adjustment problem then the camera is not giving you enough eye-relief ie you cannot get your glasses close enough to the viewfinder. It is a common problem for glass wearers; I too have the same problem. The K-x actually offers relatively good eye-relief - try looking through an Olympus 450/620 or some of the Sony DSLRS and you will see they are worse.
