Their original loco in #1 looks eye-catching and your walking efforts were rewarded with the shot of "Big Jim' simmering on Haworth shed (the most we walked was the length of the platform at Oxenhope and to the museum at Ingrow).
#2 is an interesting one - many photographers seem to dislike seeing engines coupled smoke-box together. Cropped around the locos you might get a similar view in a shed yard but not on a train. Nicely atmospheric with the smoke though.

Thanks for you informative post I got the 1030 from keightley got of at oxenhope and got wet through
When they were taking the loco off got back on the train to Haworth for a beer and lunch stop in the
Fleece inn then ingrow then home from keightley saw someone with a Pentax at ingrow
