hi will a kr mount fit fine on k20d, also i have seen somewhere about removing the extra pin on dslr autofocus cameras, also will this lens still autofocus on k20d.

lens is a sirius 60-300mm

Remove the pin first. Otherwise it will get caught in the AF hole. It is then a matter of nerve to twist back off. Here is the pin that needs to be removed. I just use a dremel.

If the lens is not AF, then it won't AF... I actually don't recall Ricoh having a pukka AF camera so I wouldn't expect a KR mount lens to have AF capabilities.....

Z-1p, K-1, P50

It won't autofocus. But if the pin is left on, it will get stuck on the 20D.

you can take out the pin by removing the four screws shown above and pull the pin out with a pair of tweezers

It should be, but be VERY careful.

From past experience the contacts are spring loaded and are easy to lose when you lift the mount off.

I did not have much trouble. i've done two Vivitars, Series1 28-105 and 70-210 also a Sigma 400m f5.6 and they still work.
These all had small spring retainers holding the pin in. It was just a case of pulling the pin out against the retainer. Then be sure you line up aperture linkage when you reassemble.
In the lenses i've done removing the mount did not open up the optics and there was no problem reseating the mount.

Go to the Ebay reviews section, search for KR Mount. Someone has done a blow-by-blow tutorial with photos on how to do it. I've done three Ricoh 50mm lenses for a work colleague and it was quite easy. Just have a well-lit place to sit and work, a couple of lens caps for the screw, and some time without being disturbed. The second one you'll do with your eyes closed*

*not literally, please don't close your eyes

Don't have a true Macro so these are from the Vivitar 28-105 of the 70-210. Had to take it apart anyway trying to fix the aperture ring lock.

First shows lens with mount removed. In the centre of two you can just see the hole and retainer that held the pin.
