Hi. If he is a dedicated Canon user he is used to doing it manualy.
Notice on lens tests when they used a Canon to test the Tamron f2.8 70-200mm they had focus problems, I have got one on my Pentax K20 and never had a problem I wonder why?

I had a Canon rep (and 5D user) demonstrating the Pro 9500 printer last year - he commented on the detail in one of my pictures when making an A3+ print, & asked what camera it was taken on. He didn't really know what to say when I told him it was from a 6MP Pentax!
