Kodak Gold 200/36 in Tesco

Anyone else noticed this? £2.97 a roll in our local, so I bought a roll in the hope that this will encourage them to keep stocking it. Anyone else tried it and what should I expect/is it worth stocking up?

This was taken on Gold 200 in late evening on mid-summer day this year. (ME Super Koboron 300mm lens)
I get mine (24 exp rolls) from Poundland for ... I forget the price but I'll post if I remember
It works for me, this is a high res scan but unedited although I dont have to do much colour correction ever, some times exposure.

I've used about five frames of it so far, waiting for the weather to improve somewhat. I find mono works better on dull grey days and colour when it's sunny.

Fair enough, but it does depend on the sort of photography you are doing. I love the rich colours in the rain and find the opposite is true for me.

I like to shoot colour and then you have the option of converting to mono with all the usual black and white filters in Lightroom. So i'll try and find some of this film! I agree the colours can be great in the rain, especially when the sun bursts through momentarily.

I also see that there is Kodak 100 From One pound store.?? What about its quality?
