Hi Guys,

I just got an ME Super with another 50mm and a massive Kiron 80-200mm F4 lens Macro (with Hood). It looks similar to the Tokina lens of a same length but certainly feels a little longer.

I was wondering how much one might be worth? And has anyone had any experience with one of these. I personally not telephoto lens type shoot at the moment so thinking to keep it or sell it.

Cheers All

I would say around £15, maybe a little more for one with the A aperture setting.

Kiron lenses are notorious for stuck aperture blades so I would say test thoroughly before selling.

I had a look around the " interwebs" and there is a rather mixed opinion on this brand of lens. Ebay doesn't hold much clues to prices either. The lens I got is in good condition and it looks awesome and silly at the same time on pentax me super body. Peeping-tom lens

There are a few F4.5 versions of this lens mentioned on this forum but F4 is probably slightly more rare. Didn't see much about blades getting stuck but will be doing a bit more research.

Cheers
