At last!

Ive finally managed to get out and indulge in my fav photography - Wildlife.

Over the last year ive spent more time in front of the computer doing weddings, portraits and other jobs.

This evening I managed to slip away to squeeze off a few shots - and what an evening it was.

Female Kestrel photos - I know a lot of you in England see it quite regularly but over here on the emerald isle its numbers are really declining

All shots with the K-5 and Sigma 150 500

That first shot is very clear and full of detail. Good exposure and you caught the eye well.

I too love the first one which is so sharp, you must have been able to get quite near to it, here in Lincolnshire they are fairly common. On sunny days they can be almost every 1/2 mile along the roadside sitting on wires hedges and trees, but try to get near and they are off.
Brilliant set by the way.
