Hi I own 500 ftz and i think it's a wonderful unit. However, my old mz-10 broke year ago and now i use mz-s. I wonder if should i buy a ttl cable so i can use my flash off camera or should i trade my old 500 ftz for 360 fgz so i can use wireless flash, high speed sync and flash compensasion. So what you guys think. Stick with old 500 unit or go for the new one.

Definitely go with the 360FGZ, there's SO many possibilities when using this with the MZS... they were made for each other!!!! The wireless option is fantastic!

Hi-

I just received my repaired hotshoe adapters and I use both 500 and 360 flashes off camers for macro work. Contrast control flash is excellent-nice soft shadows when used with my PZ1-P. The 360 is lighter and appears to attach more easily to the hotshoe than my older 500FTZ. The radio features and enhanced TTL should also work well with your MZ-S. The 360 also seems to charge up faster than the 500 and for insect photography--that's another plus.

As Always,

Jim Zablotny
