Has anyone used the K7 to shoot any sporting events under floodlights?

If so, how did it cope? Any examples would be great to see.

After getting my K7 last week, I got the chance to shoot a floodlit football match last night.

Floodlights at the ground are not very good at all, but I was happy with how the K7 performed under these awkward conditions.

Given the conditions I think you and the camera did a very good job indeed

Taken with the DA*60-250 lens.

K10d under the same conditions doesn't get any usable pictures at all. I'm very happy with the amount of noise that doesn't show up at 1600ISO.

There was loads of potentially good photos I missed last season under floodlights. Hopefully I'll get a few more this season.

Thanks hefty1, I certainly couldn't have managed without the K7.

Oh and the camera was faithfully auto-focusing all match. I used AFS as it is a bit quicker than AFC but it works. woohoo.
